Meet The Author
Pastor Ricardo Francois Dorcean, commonly referred to as Pastor D, is a Child of God, Husband, Father, Pastor, Teacher, Spiritual Father, Author, and humbled servant of The Lord Jesus Christ. Recognized as a man from extremely humble beginnings, his life demonstrates the life-giving and life-changing power of God to transform and transition anyone into persons who live in places of purpose and destiny. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion & Philosophy from Virginia Union University and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. He is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel.
Dorcean is a fresh and emerging voice in the world of Christian preaching. In addition to preaching from the pulpit, Dorcean also uses his voice in the form of
authorship. His first published book, The Church Pushed Me Over The Edge, is a tremendous resource for churches and church leaders who are in need of strategies for infrastructural safeguards that will help prevent people from being pushed out of the church and will help bring recovery to those who have already fallen out. His second book will prove to be an even more powerful resource that will positively impact the world.
